Week 3

Wow, week 3! What can I say? A lot of information, quite useful. I was not new to RSS feeds idea, however creating a blogline account and having all feeds come to one place is pretty neat. I created 7 feeds for now but I definetely am going to do some more research in that area. I picked cnn.com, some russian news and OCLS updates. Did not do Yahoo pipes yet but hope to find some time in my schedule to play with it. As to Grokker, I have kind of mixed feelings about it. The concept of filtering the info is great but I have a harder time looking up what I need (compared to Google). Maybe I am just new to it. Map view is kind of interesting (somewhat like a PowerPoint Presentation), however I don't know if it's useful when I'm trying to look up something really fast. I think I am more of an audio-visual learner, so I really don't need graphs and charts to easily find information.

Overall, week 3 was interesting. It's nice that it's not just reading, but also listening and watching material that seems to suit my learning style. I am very excited to see what else I'll get introduced to along the way.
